Friday...
Previously friday is my favourite day in a week...
Cause the nxt day is saturday! A day that u can play from morning till night then sleep till afternoon the next day~~ so luxurious~~
For the past 25 years...my 'day preference' is still friday....
Until...2 weeks ago...
I started to hate friday....
Friday is a day that everything will be delay...every friday will have extra long morning session for mortality review and drug talk and makan-makan after that...end up ward round starts late and ends even later...so, before anything can actually be done...is already lunch time...in malaysia...the extra long friday prayer lunch breakl makes every1 lazy....so every1 will come back at 3pm or even later instead of 2.45pm...
Btw, sitting in the ward with so many works pending really feels terrible...
So, so, so, when finally all the operator, lab staff, PK and etc etc are back...again... before anything can be done is time to go for HO teaching...sigh...
Den, den, den, after HO teaching...again before anything can be done already is 5pm!! the time every1 cabut and no1 will will ever peduli u...sigh...
(actually since 4.30pm the operator already stops picking up my call...unless i got 100% patience to wait until 1 minutes...then only she very reluctantly answer my call...sigh...wonder what will happen if i'm calling for patient collapse...=.=")
End up...going back home at 7pm with everything badly done...

ReplyDeletei missed the luxury of weekends too... now have to work even on weekends... and yeah, friday sucks... the lab ppl, the radiology,.. all will be closed at 12noon-3pm... haih... everything delayed.. trace results also susah... and i had to attend this stupid cpc also... haih... so boring... and work all undone... i think going back at 7pm considered good enough liao.. now i learnt to do things fast fast, so that can cabut early... if you stay longer, the staff nurses start calling you for EVERYTHING... even though it's suppose to be the dr-on-call's job... like: Dr Wu, pt bed 28 BP high, how? Dr Wu, lab called, CK 1383 bed 16, how? Dr Wu, bed 4, branula bang! ......etc, etc, etc... then you tak sampai hati to ignore the matter,.. in the end balik lambat.. haih... worse when: Dr Wu, bed 7 fitting, FITTING~~ then of course MUST attend! life sucks~
